Look What I have on Artfire.

I thought you might like to see some of my beaded figures .

May I present "Madam Butterfly"...Isn't she magical??!

She fits in the palm of my hand, so she is quite small. I did a rope chain so she can be worn to enhance a special outfit.

This little one I named "Sleeping Beauty" The pink and purple beads go so nicely to-gether. She has beads and charms dripping from her fingertips and the rope is beaded in matching colors using my favorite rope pattern.

She is quite small too and measures 3 inches head to toe.

She is 100% beaded front and back and the ropes on both measure approximately 30"

I am going to list these in my Artfire shop, Do stop by if you have a moment and take a look... Wouldn't this be a special gift for someone .

Thanksgiving in Canada.

Comfort Doll

One of my dear friends has terminal cancer. It saddens my heart so much. I thought I would make her a comfort doll and here it is. A guardian Angel beaded and lots of sequins to brighten her day..filled with Love and Prayers .
I hope this wee doll will do it's job....

New Things to Share

I Love making Journals. This one I did with my Embellishing Machine using wool rovings. A bit of embroidery, beads and some Birch trees . Look closely there is a bird's nest with 3 turquoise eggs in it. Isn't it sweet. This one is going to a friend.. I hope she likes it..

CELEBRATE, CELEBRATE...Dance To The Music

Hi Everyone... This is a very "Special" day for a very "Special" person and we are going to celebrate by having a tea party..Thanks to dear sweet Terri who is our "Hostess" for this special day....

I am awaiting the guests and have just put the kettle on so tea will be ready...

This will be such fun....

Along with the tea I thought we could just nibble on some purple/lilac M&M's. We seem to be more figure friendly in the foods we eat now and I don't think the M&M's will do much TOO much to spoil us...

The guest of honor has a favorite color and it is purple, so I have used a few things I know will delight her...

A Bump In The Road

I was happily creating in my studio using my embroidery machine for lettering on the cushions I am making......WHEN..... frustration took over as the machine refused to do any more!!!! Talk about "Bird's Nests!" They kept appearing under my work and when I cut them away the threads fell into the machine and I could not reach them...$%@##

Best laid plans of mice and men...... cats in this instance!!!!

So I have put my dancing shoes away and will direct my creativity in another direction until my machine is released from the hospital!!!

Remembering

I was visiting Aida Costa's Blog and she posted a picture of a cushion she had made in Home Ec..

Well when that pattern came out I certainly was NOT in school!!!! but I saw the pattern and immediately fell in love with it. I made several for my friends.
