Hi Maggie

Thanks for visiting my blog. I was the opposite of you, lived in Ontario for about 16 years and now living here.

Love your blog and the handmade boxes. I am putting you on my blogroll (if you don't mind).

You create such beautiful things. I'm very impressed.

Can't take the pledge though - my craft skills border on non-existent.

(Thanks for visiting my blog.)

Hey Monica, I'm sorry but sewing your finger made me smile and remember myself many moons ago. I was trying to hurry making myself a dress for a party and I sewed my finger too... right through the nail and made a stitch and ouch, it did hurt...
Moral of the story....I'm not sure but lets try and keep our fingers out of the way!! VBG
Just think of the hazards with FOUR HANDS!!!! Yikes!!!
Have a great handmade day....
((((hugs))))

I'm not sure I can hand make every gift but I do have a few people on my list that will receive my handiwork. I may treat myself to a little something from Etsy, but I can see that shopping there could turn into a dangerous obsession. There are so many talented artists and crafters.

I enjoy your blog.

Cheers

It's handmade, or nothing this year!!LOL!
Luckily, my family and friends would rather get things I create, than anything I would buy, 'cept maybe a new car for the daughters...like THAT would happen!
I agree, I need more hands, and less sleep time!

ps where is that link to the homemade sign up???

Hi Maggie,
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog. I love it when people that I don't know visit my blog so that I can get a chance to check out theirs and yours is fabulous. I really love all your ornaments and all the other homemade stuff you do. I am going to try branching out from simply embellishing eventually. Merry Christmas and thanks again.

Hi, Maggie -- I have been handmaking my gifts for so long that I think everyone on our gift list would be shocked not to receive a handmade gift. Of course, my husband thinks I'm nuts to do this with so large a family, but I know he secretly loves it!

It just wouldn't be Christmas if it wasn't handmade!

Hi Kathy,
It's so nice to hear you like to do "handmade" :0)
It is a very special gift when you know someone took the time...
One year I made all my Christmas Cards in the form of a fabric art postcard... I think I did around 35 and everyone just loved them.Unfortunately I didn't do that this year. I am struggling to see as I am going in for cataract surgery in January. I.m doing Ok but I am sure I will be amazed when I have this done.
There will be no stopping me then VBG
Meanwhile Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS
((((hugs))))
