More Miniature Quilts

This miniature I call Umbrella Girls.. It measures
6 1/2" x 8" and the blocks measure 1 1/2".
I tried to get the picture larger and lost the first post!!!!
The blocks are hand appliqued with a blanket stitch.
I made a full sized quilt which I have on the bed in the guest bedroom. I had a quilt my gramma made like this, but when it got worn I got rid of it!!!! I was young and did not know anything about quilting then...Oh how I wish I still had it! When I made the bed sized one I was thinking of Gramma the whole time hoping she would forgive me!!!

How tiny! I have a friend who made one that small, but I never would. =) Very lovely. Love to see the bed quilt, too.

How adorable. I don't think I have the patience (or eyesight) to do something this small. Your work is so precise. Love your blog

How absolutely adorable. Those umbrella girls remind me of some tea towels my mother embroidered for me.

God bless.

Hi to Candi, Pat, Tammy,
cq4fun,Psm and Jackie, for taking a look at my minis... (Soory,I lost some of your messages when I tried to put up a picture you could enlarge)I really enjoy the challenge of "How small" can I go!! When I first started quilting I made bed sized quilts, but soon thereafter i realized it was the miniature aspect that intrigued me.
I was getting very frustrated with my blurry vision.. Partly from the prednisone I am on as well as cataract #2. Well the cataract surgery which I am just recovering from has enabled me to see again, so I really feel ready to gert going on my miniature quilting and beading, my other love...LOL
I am also learning Crazy Patch so who knows what I will come up with next!! Every day is a new experience!!!!
I am also on the verge of traditional rug hooking!!EEK!!! I need a longer day!!!!
