Wonderful card!

Kentucky recently experienced snow and ice storms. Many people were without electricity for as long as more than a week.

Hi Nellie...
Thanks for visiting me and leaving your sweet comments.
Thanks for the update re Kentucky weather. I remember some bad storms in the US but not where.
Oh My .it sounds like they had a terrible time. The weather seems crazy all over. We had record snowfall. I thought it would never end! I am longing for daffodils...
BTW Nellie, Your birds are wonderful..

Hi June.
Thanks for popping by...
I always appreciate your sweet comments.
If you look back in my blog, I made a tutorial about the felted postcards which is done on my embellisher machine, It looks like a sewing machine but uses no thread or bobbin. It has 5 needles and just punches the fibres to-gether.
Hand felting is how I did the little goldfinch bird in a recent post.It is done by just holding one needle and punching at the wool
to make the shapes! Lots of fun.
I must warn you , it is very addictive!!!

Hi, Maggie:

I love the needle felted card. I, too, am addicted to needle felting and punch needle. I've only done hand felting from a few kits I bought, but I love it. I haven't felt adventurous enough to try it from scratch. Maybe I'll finally find some time and get bold enough to try it! LOL LOL

Totally gorgeous needlefelting - I am addicted to it too - I think all the pounding is extremely stress busting!
