Maggie I try to harvest my lavender just as it starts to open so I get optimum fragrance and color.

Yes a yellow sky like this usually predicts bad weather. We have been lucky lately as most of the bad weather has been south of the great lakes.
I was wondering about the lavender as what I buy for sachets look like seeds. Whatever, it sure is a beautiful fragrance and so restful...
