MORE FAIRY CHARMS

I am always up for a challenge and these little rascals were just that!!
The wire was the problem so I tried fireline which is a strong beading thread(actually a fishing line)
Well, that wasn't any better as the fairies were too floppy.
I looked through my stuff and found some fabric covered wire which was finer...so.. I burned off the covering and cleaned the wire and.....VOILA!!!!. It worked... No blood... no frustrations... so I am finally satisfied........... the middle one is the one I did with the finer wire... I gave her a flower hat..... LOVE IT!!!!
Now I can go to my rug hooking group happy and relaxed....

Delightful little charms, Maggie. You are always learning something new -- hey, I forgot you were into rug hooking too -- that was my passion about 10 years ago -- what fun it was -- still have one or two to finish up -- maybe when the weather gets cooler I will drag them out and finish. I love your blog -- always something new, always cheerful, keep up the great work.

Hugz my friend,
J

Glad you found a wire that works. Sometimes it's just trial and error. Great fairies.

How cute! I have tons of beads in the house from when my daughter made jewelry a few years ago. I'm starting to get some ideas!

Your little fairies are so cute, Maggie. I'm glad you stuck with the challenge! Thanks, too, for your lovely puzzle piece which was in the mail when we got back from a month in the Midwest. Looking forward to reading your blog.
