Hello,Hello

Hi Everyone, NOOOOOOO

I have not been hibernating.

Anything but.....

Just celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary on Sept 11,(1954).. A lovely romantic dinner just the two of us at a very special restaurant that we love...... we never seem to lack for things to say to each other....
Then...... all the guilds I belong to starting are up.
I belong to Fibre Arts, Oxford Quilt Guild, and my tap dancing class, plus I have been taking a couple of online classes.....LOL.
I got accepted into a juried sale of art so I am busy trying to get some things ready for a show and sale.. I tell you never a dull moment...Will try and have some more pictures soon.
I love this time of year with the cooler days.. Seems to spark my creativity, instead of being a SLUG in the very hot summer....VBG....Have a beautiful day
xoxo

Wow...56! That is absolutely wonderful. I love to hear of long marriages...they are so few and far between these days. Warmest congratulations to you and your husband. ; )

Congratulations. Sadly, not very many marriages starting out these days will last 56 years. You and your hubby have set a fine example.

No close-ups please!!! haha
I think I was blessed with my Mother's genes. She was a beautiful english woman with the most beautiful skin.
I must say though I worked for Estee Lauder Cosmetics for years and always have used the best creams AND.... my little secret is a fine layer of vaseline over it all at night....Now you know it all VBG
PS I would NEVER do botox or the knife. I believe in growing old gracefully!!

Well done you two!!!
That is really something and what a beautiful bride and handsome bridegroom you made.
And so nice to hear you're not running out of conversation!!!
We made 40 this year - many of our friends are on their second time around now.
Lovely to read your post and hear all the things you're up to Maggie.
You certainly look like an Estee Lauder girl still!
Take care
