All Is Well and I Feel Lucky

Hello dear Friends.
It has been so long since I was here.
I want to thank everyone that sent good thoughts and prayers when I was down and out!
I am still waiting for an MRI, but as near as I can figure out from my diagnosis it was sciatica!!!
I never knew such pain in my life.
I am nearly off the oxycotin and am being very careful with my movements. I hope I never have to go through that again..
So.... as I continue to improve I do feel "Lucky"  to have this over with.
I did manage to get through the artist's sales I was committed to with the help of drugs and my walking stick!
They were very long days, but  it was a successful  occasion.
I see my Etsy Shop is nearly empty...... oh dear... .
I will have to work on that in the new year....I promise
I have had time to sit around and do a lot of thinking and I  am planning some kind of a draw for you faithful "followers" in the near future....
I hope you will stay tuned...
Meanwhile, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a wonderful time with those close to you.
xoxo
Maggie

Welcome back Maggie! I'm glad to hear you are on the road to feeling good again. I have a bum leg going on three weeks now. The Dr. wants to see it again if it doesn't stop aching by Friday. It isn't fun falling apart,LOL.
Continued healing wishes to you my friend.Hugs,Pat

Glad you are doing better! Welcome back. My husband had sciatica, and it interfered greatly with his horseback riding and walking. He found a massage therapist helped him even more than a chiropractor. Good luck.

Oh dear there is nothing more painful that sciatica. My husband has had problems over the years as a result of an old sports injury. I'm glad to see you're back blogging and are getting better:)

Hi Maggie:
I happy to hear that you are feeling better. I understand the pain of sciatica as I suffered with it in my twenties.
((Big hugs))

I am so glad that you are feeling better. I had no idea that sciatica could be that bad. Take it easy to be on the safe side and it is good to see you back.

Hugs & Merry Christmas

Maggie, I'm so sorry it's been so long since I was by. I'm so far behind on all my blogging. I have some comments I need to respond to, some of which are from you. I am so sorry to hear you were not well! Oh my goodness. I am glad you are feeling better. I was in a sewing class this weekend, and I had my little doll you made hanging on my sewing machine (that's where she lives). The teacher, Mary Lou Hallenbeck, commented on how much she liked it and when I told her you made it, she said she was familiar with you and your shop. Too cool. So, I think of you often...every time I sit down to sew! Hope you are well. Have a great holiday. Love you!
