Why a I not a happy camper??????

I am having trouble signing in to Blogger.

Has anyone else found this to be true?

This troubleshooting screen comes up and has not answered any of my questions.....Grrrrrr!!!

Fleece Festival October 2010

Here I am at the far left with a few of the ladies that belong to the Rug Hooking Group I belong to. I should have taken more pictures of our booth. We had a lot of our rugs on display, and we had 2 classes going for those that wanted to learn Traditional Rug Hooking.

Look at these darlings!

These little guys are raised for their wool and provide us with fleece and the makings for beautiful yarns, I bought a big bag of the fleece as well as some of the rovings, which I use in my work.

Aren't the rovings beautiful ! I think I have enough to make a few pictures!!! hahahah

I already have a stash of rovings , but I got this huge bag for $5.00.... How could I resist?!?!

This Festival is held in October and this was it's second year. It has proved to be such a success it will be held for 2 days in October 2011.This event has been very successful with dozens of vendors , lots of workshops are avaiable, and the attendance has been over the top.

I am especially excited about next year as the Fibre Arts Group I belong to has been invited to have a booth next year and show and sell our work ....already my head is full of ideas.

I'm Still Here

Hi everyone.

I am still here and going strong.

I had a very successful time at the Craigowan Artist Show and Sale last week-end.

I am at another sale this week-end called "Deck The Halls" at the Creative Art Centre in Ingersoll, Ontario.

I have been so busy getting things done to sell I have not had time to blog.

It was very worthwhile as I sold a lot last week-end. Hope this week-end will be good too.

I shall Post more with pictures on Monday..

Frustrations and More FUN Things!

I have been busy making some cards... Hope you like them.

Thank goodness my creativity has nothing to do with my computer....

I have been so frustrated with this computer.

Had it in the shop to be fixed and all seemed well until I tried to email some pictures...

Wouldn't work!!

Tried to crop some pictures, ...couldn't find my photosmart program!!!

Downloaded another one from the internet and it works but not the one I like....

I have wasted so much time trying to fix something I really know nothing about!!!!

One step above my capabilities..VBG

SO...

I guess I will trott it back to the shop on Monday...

Meanwhile where's my needle and thread!!!! It is the only thing that calms me down in times like this... Oh and the other thing that has a soothing affect.... CHOCOLATE...

Look out Halloween Candy.... here I come!!!!

Hi everyone.

My computer has not been behaving so I am way behind in my posts.

Lots has happened ...
I had a birthday and my DH surprised me with a lovely surprise party with my family and lots of friends attending. I received so many wonderful cards and letters including one from our Prime Minister of Canada.

I can't believe I am 75 years old! The mirror says so but in my head I am still 40!!! Works for me.....VBG

I am so thankful that I am still able to do all the things I LOVE to do. I look forward to being in my studio every day creating something..Praise the Lord.

Frustration & Happy Thanksgiving.

This morning started off bright and sunny and I was looking forward to the day....WELL!

My computer has been in the shop forever or at least it seemed like it and I got it back yesterday.... All was well until I tried to scan and print.....:-{

No Luck, so DH had a look and 3 hours later!!!! he got the printer to work but not the scanner.... It is a long story but the bottom line is it will have to go back to the shop! Darn... Oh well that will definitely mean I get more time to work in my studio with no distraction ....so that's a good thing.

Now on to more interesting and fun thoughts...

I hope you all will have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING , enjoying family and good times to-gether.

My DH and I have been invited out for dinner, so I will not be cooking turkey..sigh!

However, enjoying the company of dear friends makes up for that..

Hi Everyone, NOOOOOOO

I have not been hibernating.

Anything but.....

Just celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary on Sept 11,(1954).. A lovely romantic dinner just the two of us at a very special restaurant that we love...... we never seem to lack for things to say to each other....

Then...... all the guilds I belong to starting are up.

I belong to Fibre Arts, Oxford Quilt Guild, and my tap dancing class, plus I have been taking a couple of online classes.....LOL.

I got accepted into a juried sale of art so I am busy trying to get some things ready for a show and sale.. I tell you never a dull moment...Will try and have some more pictures soon.

I love this time of year with the cooler days.. Seems to spark my creativity, instead of being a SLUG in the very hot summer....VBG....Have a beautiful day

Healing /Comfort Spirit Dolls

I have been busy working on my spirit/comfort dolls... They are about 3 inches tall and are loaded with beads and charms. Each color has it's own meaning

I make the faces and give them a crackle finish which I love doing.

I will put some in my Etsy shop and hopefully I will have more for a gallery sale later this fall.
